Position Overview:
We are seeking FT and PT compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) who are committed to personal growth, professional development, and delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, adaptability to clients needs, and a passion for making a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Support client independence while ensuring safety and well-being
- Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and document as required
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff
- Maintain a respectful, compassionate, and professional presence at all times
Qualifications:
- Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license
- Minimum one year of recent, active CHHA experience
- Valid NJ Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout Bergen County
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to adapt to various client environments with professionalism and empathy
